BEACHES
Let your holiday guide you to some of Antiparos most magnificent beaches; Psaralyki, Sifneiko (sunset), Panagia, Glyfa, Apandima, Soros, Sostis, Faneromeni, St. Giorgios, Theologos and Livadia. Or you can set out hiking, trekking and cycling along the seashore or countryside are sure ways to also appreciate the endless beauty of Antiparos.
CAVE OF ANTIPAROS
The cave of Antiparos has amazing stalactites and stalagmites in all its rooms. Outside the cave, there is the church of Agios Ioannis Spiliotis. It is located 9 km south of Chora.
VENETIAN CASTLE
The Castle, now in ruins, comes up in the middle of Chora. It was square in shape and had houses around it, while a circular tower was built in the middle. The entrance to the castle is next to the Cathedral of Agios Nikolaos.
DESPOTIKO ISLAND
Despotiko is a small, uninhabited islet to the south of Antiparos, It has long, sandy beaches with crystal water. Many tours from Paros/ Antiparos go to Despotiko and other smaller islets around it.
CYCLADIC ART MUSEUM
The Cycladic Art Museum on Antiparos contains exhibits that were found on different parts of the island and copies of those found in Goulandris Museum of Cycladic Art in Athens. In the small and charming museum, you will find copies of famous statuettes such as The Pregnant Lady, the violin shaped figures made of Parian marble and the only exhibit made of opsiolianos (a kind of stone), The Seated Man.
