Quick answer: Three days in Paros splits naturally into three characters: Day 1 for Naoussa’s harbor and the sculpted coves of Kolymbithres, Day 2 for the mountain village of Lefkes, the Byzantine Trail, and the beaches of the south, and Day 3 for a private boat day around Antiparos. Base yourself in one villa — the island is small enough that nothing is more than 35 minutes away. Venia, Paros Concierge at Loyal Villas Luxury · Updated July 2026
This is the itinerary I actually build for guests, not a checklist of everything, but the version of Paros that makes people rebook before they leave. It assumes a villa base near Naoussa or Santa Maria and a hire car or driver.
Day 1 — Naoussa & the North
Morning. Ease in. Breakfast on your terrace (we pre-stock villas before arrival, so the coffee and yogurt are already there). Then 15 minutes to Kolymbithres — granite boulders carved into natural swimming pools, best before 11 am when the light is low and the coves are yours.
Afternoon. Lunch barefoot at a Monastiri-side taverna, then a slow swim at Santa Maria, the north’s shallow-turquoise family beach. Nap. This is Paros; the nap is structural.
Evening. Naoussa at golden hour: the Venetian harbor with fishing boats and octopus drying on lines, a drink at the kastro ruins, then dinner at a harborfront table — book ahead in July–August, or let our concierge hold one. Nightcap options run from wine bars to the island’s most polished cocktail rooms, all within 200 meters.
Day 2 — Villages, the Byzantine Trail & the South
Morning. Drive 20 minutes inland to Lefkes, the island’s marble-built mountain village. Coffee in the plateia, then walk the Byzantine Trail , a 3.5 km millennium-old marble path descending through olive groves to Prodromos (60–75 minutes, downhill, go before 10 am for shade).
Afternoon. Continue south. Lunch above Faragas cove, then choose your beach: Golden Beach for its kilometer of sand and world-class windsurfing, or Faragas itself for calm water and quiet. Passing Parikia, detour 20 minutes for Panagia Ekatontapiliani, the 4th-century Church of a Hundred Doors — and the Frankish Castle’s alley views.
Evening. Tonight stays home: a private chef cooks in your villa while the pool lights come on. Gouna, revithada, Parian wine. This dinner is the single most-praised booking we arrange — reserve it when you book the villa, not after arrival.
Day 3 — Antiparos by Private Boat
The day guests remember. A private RIB or traditional kaiki collects you for a circuit of the strait: the sea cave at Antiparos, swims in coves reachable only by water, lunch at a beach taverna on Antiparos town’s laid-back waterfront (Despotiko’s ancient sanctuary optional for the curious). Charters run half-day (€450–€700) or full-day with skipper and drinks, our concierge arranges both.
Final evening. Sunset from your own terrace, you chose a villa with a view for a reason — then a last walk through Naoussa. You’ll be planning the return by the second drink.
If You Have a Fourth Day
Windsurfing lessons at Golden Beach, a morning at the Archaeological Museum and Parikia’s old town, or simply nothing at all by the pool, the most underrated Paros itinerary item. Families: swap the Byzantine Trail for the shallow coves at Kolymbithres with kids.
FAQ
Is 3 days enough for Paros? Three days covers the essential triangle, Naoussa and the northern beaches, Lefkes and the south, and a boat day to Antiparos. A week lets you slow down to the island’s actual pace, which is the point of Paros.
Where should I base myself for a 3-day Paros itinerary? The Naoussa–Santa Maria–Kolymbithres triangle offers the best mix of dining, beaches, and reach: everything in this itinerary sits within 35 minutes. Villas near Golden Beach suit windsurfers and seclusion-seekers.
Do I need a car in Paros? Yes, or a driver. The island rewards movement, and taxis are scarce in peak season. Loyal Villas Luxury arranges car hire delivered to your villa, or private drivers for the full stay.
How do I get to Antiparos from Paros? Public options: car ferry from Pounda (7 minutes) or passenger boat from Parikia. The better version: a private charter from your nearest beach, combining the crossing with cave visits and swim stops.
How far is the airport from the main villa areas? Paros Airport (PAS) sits 10–25 minutes from most luxury villas, about 25 minutes to Naoussa. We include meet-and-greet private transfers on qualifying bookings.
Want this itinerary arranged end to end, chef, boat, tables, transfers? Choose your Paros villa and send us your dates. Our island concierge does the rest.
